I am picking up e-mails just now, as we have been out of town for several weeks. I am so disappointed that we did not get to view the program on CBC. We have the polar bear trip on our "bucket list" and hope to do it soon.

We are coming over to stay with you in November and if ever you wish to see Sydney, Australia we would be more than happy to give you the grand tour... Can't wait to sample your hospitality and see your beautiful country again! We did the Canada / Alaska / Inner Passage trip a few years ago, and after talking to our tour guides we had to add you to our bucket list... So excited to be finally realizing another one of our hit lists! Cheers

Hi Linda! Hope you enjoyed Adam’s documentary on The Nature of Things. We’d love to host you at any of our remote lodges on the Hudson Bay coastline. Just shoot Doreen an e-mail at info@churchillwild.com and we’ll give you all the details. There’s nowhere else in the world that will give you a real Arctic Safari experience with the polar bears. Watch for Adam’s second feature this spring with National Geographic, which I’m told will have footage from the Lodge as well.

I have put this date in my calendar and plan to watch this. I love bears, especially the polar bear. I worry so much about the future of these magnificent animal. I am a member of several wildlife clubs, aiming at protecting our bears, and more the polar bear.

I will be coming up to Churchill this fall or next.

For the recipes on the blog we would suggest copying them into a word document for printing. We also have the Blueberries & Polar Bears cookbooks - which is where most of these recipes come from.

Teddy - you can use the images for a school project as long as they are not being published in a magazine. If your project ends up on your school website use the photo credit as listed above and link to our website.

Good luck with the project!

Great blog article. The trip was outstanding. The guides were knowledgable, friendly, and skilled. The folks at Seal River Heritage Lodge were outstanding! The food was amazing even for a place that is not so isolated. The lodge was quaint and very cozy! A gem on the rugged western coast of the Hudson Bay. It was great to be a part of a group of photographers with such skill and profound interest.
